  1. Hi all, I have been scouring forums for weeks trying to turn my RPi into an OpenVPN Server. I kept getting problems with the commands in the various how-to I ran into. Especially trying to route my traffic. That is until I found a "Gold Paper" written by the "SANS Security Institute" which I take to mean the configuration will be pretty good to protect my privacy... It explains not only how to configure your RPi but why it needs to be configured a certain way. This made the difference between having a buggy OpenVPN and having a server that, I hope, is fully secure and works with my laptop and my android phone. Before, I had all sorts of problem routing my traffic via my home network. Now. I can access my hoem files when travelling AND I can route all my traffic, encrypted, via my home network. Which mean I can keep accessing netflix even when I travel to Canada or europe http://www.sans.org/reading-room/whitepapers/hsoffice/soho-remote-access-vpn-easy-pie-raspberry-pi-34427
