  1. Not a stupid question because usually the simplest solutions are the ones people tend to overlook. I thought of that after i put raspbian on the device and had to connect a monitor and keyboard. A headslap moment on my part

  3. Recently I have been using the raspberry pi for a school project. I am all done with the project and class so I plan on turning it into a media center with what is most likely going to be xbian. But anyways I am unable to even get into the pi right now because I set up without thinking a static ip address. Now I can not log into it with putty or use tightvnc because I can not start the service. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can do to gain access. Any communication would be greatly appreciated.
